When you have an Irish Wolfhound any “small” behavioural problem can become a “large” issue! If they don’t want to do something forcing them to do so just will not work.

Chris has taught me how to get Flynn to walk beside me without pulling me over, which in a few lessons is a massive achievement.

Chris is very mindful of both the owner and the dog’s needs and the rapport he builds achieves real results. Training sessions are always productive and a lot of fun too.

Chris’ experience as a dog handler and trainer is evident and Flynn loves him (and the cheese!)

For the first time in our lives we felt it necessary to get some help with training a very large and boisterous Newfoundland puppy.

We had always had Labradors in the past and trained these easily ourselves, and then had our first Newfoundland girl, who was fine and, again, very easy to train. We then got Lollie, who is now 14 months. It was clear by the time she reached about 8 months, and about 50kg, that we were struggling.

Chris has changed our lives and turned Lolita from a "vigorous hooligan" (!) into a well-behaved girl, who is now a pleasure to have about the home. We cannot thank him enough or recommend him more highly.

He is extremely kind but firm, and his excellent methods of training our own dog have really paid off. We have also both learned a very great deal from him and will always be grateful to him for his help.

Chris Emery has worked with me through the summer of 2008 to improve the obedience of my five-year old Border Collie, Dex. Dex loves Chris and looks forward to his visits.
